About the Journal

The Liaquat Journal of Health Research (LJHR) is a biannual, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published under the auspices of Liaquat College of Medicine & Dentistry, Darul Sehat Hospital, Karachi. LJHR is committed to advancing health sciences by providing a platform for the dissemination of high-quality, ethically sound, and regionally relevant research across the fields of medicine, dentistry, public health, and medical education.

Aim

LJHR is a peer-reviewed, open-access biomedical journal committed to fostering scholarly excellence and evidence-based practice in Pakistan and beyond. It aims to showcase original research, systematic reviews, case reports, and brief communications that address key public health, clinical, and medical education challenges—especially those uniquely relevant to developing countries and regional healthcare settings.

Scope

LJHR welcomes submissions in the following domains:

- Clinical Medicine & Surgery (Medicine, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology, etc.)
- Public & Community Health (Epidemiology, Health Promotion, Health Systems Research)
- Medical Education (Curriculum Development, Assessment, Simulation-Based Learning)

Objectives
